Ive waited so long to show my heart to another, Ive waited so long to show the others my soul, This time ill try rock n roll. Hitch a ride… Though the fog’s so thick it wont hurt my pride. Yea you’re right along, I got your photograph, Right along, making me whole. Right along, cuz I got your photograph, And im on the lonely road paying the toll. Fog’s so thick, I cant flag a ride. Though the rain’s pouring down it wont hurt my pride! Yea you’re right along, I got your photograph, Right along, making me whole. Right along, cuz I got your photograph, And im on the lonely road paying the toll. Ive waited so long to show my heart to another, Ive waited so long to show the others my soul, This time ill try rock n roll. Fueled by the years just pushing the plow. Oh my poor, poor feet, don’t fail me now! Yea you’re right along, I got your photograph, Right along, making me whole. Right along, cuz I got your photograph, And im on the lonely road paying the toll. Yeah your right along, watching me Rock n Roll! Right along, right along….

SALESMAN 04:06
I come from a long line of salesman. Just one look into my eyes and you know that it’s true. A stream of sunlight, hits the carpet in my hotel room, I throw my drink into the bush and get on with what I gotta do. I see the furtive glance in the eye of the fawn, That’s the mystery that keeps me hanging on. There’s a bend up ahead between the fields out on ‘four mile’ road, Its where I see the limitlessness of life, and think about my good name. and there’s a curse of doubt passed down from the men of proceeding generations. Failure distilled into a drop and put right into my vein. I see the rich man and think that he’s got it all. That’s my weakness, I should be standing tall. Should I retreat to the last highground on some mountain range? But isolated without anyone else around…wouldn’t’ that feel strange? I come from a long line of salesman. Just one look into my eyes, and you know that it’s true I see the furtive glance in the eye of the fawn, That’s the mystery that keeps me hanging on.

DEATH IS NOT A DESTINATION LYRICS I never finished schooling, I ran wild and ran far. Biked down to the dockyards to play my guitar. And twenty years on, at work, I get the axe. For teaching those with tunnel vision how to relax. As a young boy I stared out every window. Every wall that shut me in, I schemed how to get away. Now everyone wants the truth from me, yea, they want commitment. But the truth is in my journey – my death is not a destination… Ive paid my dues so I can roam free and play. Ive left more towns then you’ll ever see. ‘round every ring-road, and through the heart of the city. Ive laid here for hours just wasting away while the rambler inside me dies another day. And I know to really breath ive got to get out into the fields Where the dew chills the air and the grip of man yields. As a young boy I stared out every window. Every wall that shut me in, I schemed how to get away. Now everyone wants the truth from me, yea, they want commitment. But the truth is in my journey – my death is not a destination… Ive paid my dues so I can roam free and play. Ive left more town than you’ll ever see. ‘round every ring-road and through the heart of the city.

Man like me im made to move and get around…and make sound. That’s why it’s a shame im cooped up here in the back room doing the books with no pedal down! Laying here in the darkness my mind just races. I should breathing hard and getting put through my paces. Can’t sing about this life without paying its debts. I sing the praises of hard knocks and bittersweet sunsets. Bittersweet sunsets. Bittersweet sunsets. U.K magazine I dig that pop machine. Shoegaze praise, art school days, press is in a frenzy and the crowds in a craze…in drunken haze. Laying here in the darkness my mind just races. I should breathing hard and getting put through my paces. Can’t sing about this life without paying its debts. I sing the praises of hard knocks and bittersweet sunsets. Bittersweet sunsets. Bittersweet sunsets. Bittersweet sunsets. Bittersweet sunsets.

When your letting your body down And it speaks as an aching stone wood. Coffee and push-ups work To keep your brain in charge as it always should be. I can hear the ancient ones speak As im chopping up cords of wood. They worked it all day then they bathed in the river. It was icy cold and kept them sharp as can be. And when you arrive at my song. There is a glimpse of the stagnant pool that I gaze on. When I have nothing but this broken sword - For to dig both you and me a grave – Won’t you remember me as one that was icy cold… Kept it sharp as could be. And when you arrive at my song. There is a glimpse of the stagnant pool that I gaze on.

I’ve got the keys to the castle The castle of my dreams All my days of discovery will be there. Vocations float on by like roughage in the passing stream. I just stand on this drawbridge Looking in. This one time ill quit my wandering Ill rest and make a home. This one time ill quit my wandering Ill rest and make a home As a youth silver was put on my skull So I could see another dimension. Yes, I could see the world of the spirits, I made a connection. This one time ill quit my wandering Ill rest and make a home. This one time ill quit my wandering Ill rest and make a home Well the only cure is to be hopeful. All my wanderings leave me with moments That are full of possibilities… absolutely perfect. Breakdown All you warriors of the world unite They are sounding the alarm back home. They say there’s thieves in the attic coming for the kids. They steal thoughts from the Gods when they’re out in the sleeping lands. Yea they can teach your children all your secret plans. This one time ill quit my wandering Ill rest and make a home. This one time ill quit my wandering Ill rest and make a home Well the only cure is to be hopeful. All my wanderings leave me with moments That are full of possibilities… absolutely perfect.

1,2,3 color of jade, driveway driveway in the shade. 6 more colors shine bright off the blade, take me with you – im not afraid. And then by god…one day it happened. They walked out into the sun! There were two chapels rapping their bells in time for everyone. Ice age ice age leave me in awe. Take me back there before the thaw…I can believe what I saw! There were ancient creatures teaching us tricks. Building bridges made out of sticks. And then by god…one day it happened. They walked out into the sun! There were two chapels rapping their bells in time for everyone. You said my god…is this really happening again?! You said my god…is this really happening again?!
